Disney cruise!

We had a great time on our Disney cruise!  It was our first family vacation and the kids had a blast.  The weather was the only downfall... it barely reached 70, and it was overcast and windy most of the time, so it felt more like it was in the 50s.  A little cold for swimming!  (Although the kids didn't let that stop them.)

Sammy and I got pedicures before the trip!

Cinnamon rolls for breakfast the morning we flew to Florida!

It's finally here!!!

In the car on the way to the airport

Getting lunch in the Philadelphia airport.  No, that is not a beer for Ryan... it was for mommy!  ;)

Walking hand-in-hand in the airport.  So cute.

So excited for his first flight!

This was Sammy's face when she saw the cruise ship for the first time! haha

Photo opp before boarding the ship

My first lunch on the ship.  No vacation album is complete without pictures of food...  :)

Checking out the kids' club!

An interactive floor game board in the kids' club

Our stateroom!  Pretty spacious.

The ship's directory

Sammy's maiden voyage on the Mickey slide!

The pool deck. There's an "aqua-duck" water slide that goes around the perimeter of this deck.  It was fun!

Silly family selfie from our balcony

Mickey ice cream bars were a hit each night!

Our stateroom attendant folded towel animals for us every night!

Bunk beds!

The first morning.  We're glad we got a room with a balcony!

Breakfast with a view.  :)

Sammy and Rapunzel

Princess Tiana

Cinderella!

We took a taxi ride to a local beach in the Bahamas.  The kids were very excited that there were no seatbelts in the van.

Sammy got her hair wrapped.  :)

Ryan got a new shark tooth necklace

Mmmm.... tacos at one of the local restaurants in Nassau, Bahamas!

The kids wrote their names on the wall of the restaurant

Leaving Nassau and heading back to the ship

Mickey bar!

The servers did little magic tricks for the kids every night after dinner

Enjoying the beach at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay

Matt is at the top of the slide and Sammy is at the bottom

We saw sting rays!  (Up close and personal!)

It was too chilly to be in a swimsuit!

Heading back to the ship after Castaway Cay

Pirate night! Ahoy, mateys!

He makes a pretty cute pirate.  :)

Mommy's Mickey cappuccino.  Yum!

More magic tricks at dinner.  The kids balanced forks with toothpicks.

Cute pic of the kids on pirate night!

Anna and Elsa from Frozen!

Character dance party!

Beautiful view from our balcony

I couldn't resist getting a picture of the lifeguards in their winter gear while kids were in their swimsuits!
(It was that chilly!)

Mmmm.... our delicious meal at Palo, an adults-only restaurant

Dessert at Palo.  Amazing!

The kids with their loot from the gift shop.

After the cruise, we spent the day in Cocoa Beach, FL with Matt's aunt and uncle...

Surfing at Ron Jon's surf shop

There's a neighborhood there with wild peacocks!

Mini golf!

The mini golf place had an area where you could feed alligators!  Apparently they like hot dogs.  :)

Time to head home...  :(

Matt told the kids it was good luck to touch the plane before you got on.

The plane ride home

The kids were asleep five minutes after we left the airport to head home!
