Aruba!

Matt and I went to Aruba for Thanksgiving this year.  We were gone for seven nights and enjoyed every minute!  The kids stayed with Matt's parents (thanks Grandmom and Pop Pop!) and had a blast.  Here are some pictures from our trip...

The view from our hotel room.  That is not Matt in a Speedo.  :)

Lots of iguanas on the island!

This hammock had my name all over it.  :)

The resort's private island.  We spent a couple of days here.

Matt snorkeling

Dinner at the Flying Fishbone restaurant.  The tables were in the sand, and some were even in the water when the tide came in.  It was a beautiful view and the food was fantastic!

We rented a Jeep one day and explored the island.  There was a spot called the Rock Wish Garden where tourists stack up little towers of rocks.  There were thousands of tiny towers!  Matt loved it.  :)

I can't remember what Matt called this, but it was a hole in the ground and when the waves crashed against the rocks, the water came shooting through the hole.  He was pretty excited about it.   Mr. Geologist.  ;)

The natural bridge.

Drinks at Iguana Joes.  :)

Everyone snorkeling during our snorkel sail adventure.

There were flamingos on the resort's private island and they would walk right up to you!

Brave lizards kept trying to get a taste of my drink...

Bye bye, Aruba!  :(
