We were pretty busy in August. We were in Bethany Beach August 8th - 11th, then drove down to Virginia for the rest of the week. The following weekend, we went to Maryland for a surprise party to celebrate Matt's parents' 40th wedding anniversary, his mom's birthday, and his mom's retirement!

We needed an excuse to get Matt's mom out of the house before the surprise party, so the girls went to get pedicures. Sammy got her very first pedicure and she loved it! She chose a sparkly pink/purple color.
This is what kept Ryan occupied for the entire party...
We might have a future baseball player on our hands. :)
Or maybe not...
