The Botzler Family

So the kitchen renovation is about 95% complete!  We still have a few things to do, but without further ado, here are some pictures!   2007 - Before we moved in!   2008 - After we moved in.  Pretty much what the kitchen has looked like for the past 4 years.    Getting ready for the demo!  (The dining room table isn't usually in that spot with all that stuff on it!)  Our new kitchen!  We still need to put the microwave in over the oven.  We're also ordering a piece of cabinet to go over the refrigerator so there isn't such a big empty space. We removed the soffit that was above this "island" and added wall cabinets.  We also need to finish the trim at the bottom of the cabinets. 

Sammy recently discovered her old bouncy seat and sometimes likes to sit in it.  This picture was taken in July 2012:  I found an old picture of her in the same bouncy seat in December 2010:

The kitchen renovation started on Monday (8/20).  Cabinets are being installed Thursday and Friday!  I can't wait to see the finished product!  Our granite gets installed on Thursday, September 6th, so I'll post more pictures then.  :)  

Here are some pictures from our ultrasound on August 3rd.  We are so excited to welcome a little baby boy into our family in just a few months!  The doctor said he's growing right on schedule (he was 13 ounces) and, from what they can see, appears to be healthy! I didn't get as many pictures as I had hoped, but I did get a few of the awesome cupcakes (thanks Cake Art by Amy !) and the awesome water park in our backyard (thanks Josh & Kristi!).

We had a big night in the Botzler house tonight!  Sammy used the potty!  She started showing interest in the toilet about a month ago, so I went and bought her a little potty seat.  She sits on it every time Matt or I go to the bathroom.  Tonight she was about to get into the bathtub and she said "pee pee" and "potty."  So Matt put her on her potty seat and she peed!  She even wiped with toilet paper afterward!  I never thought I'd be posting so many details about a trip to the bathroom... haha!  Just be glad I didn't take a picture of the potty after she used it!  (I thought about it!)
